Steel Fiber Introduction
The steel fiber is a kind of new material which is mixed into the concrete to reinforce the strength of the concrete. It is a kind of short fiber, to be distributed in the concrete, suppressing the expand and occurrence of the macro-cracks, reducing the brittleness of concrete to improve its durability, comparing to common concrete, the concrete mixed steel fiber mainly appear the following advantage:
Compression strength increased by 8%-10% Tensile strength increased by 50%-70%
The shear strength increased by 30%-70% The flexural strength increase by 120%-180%
The impact resistance increased by 200%-700% The fatigue resistance increased by 50%-60%
